Went back and checked you boys' history:

Dated 17 February 2006, received 21 February 2006 from the Canadian Consulate General in Buffalo, New York:

This is to advise you that your application for permanent residence has been received at the Regional Programme Centre (RPC) and that a file has been created for you. Your file number appears above.

Looks like you are tracking our progress quite closely. Our AOR: 11/7/05. "Shuffled off" to New York City office: 11/15/06.

We had requested a Seattle office transfer if it occured - so much for our wishes.

Here's crossing our fingers for a quick response for all of us!

(Actually, I am emailing our immigration attorney tomorrow as it has now been the 90 days they refer to in the file transfer letter.)

Hi guys I thought I pay you a visit this morning, and I'm happy you got a response! Probably not the one you were waiting... but I think applications in Seattle are process a lot faster. Anyhow take care.

Congrats on the transfer. It's a step in the right direction.

I have to stop myself from checking the CIC website every day. I check about one a week.
